Tl;dr

No, if you do it part-time.

First, what is Bite Squad?

Bite Squad is a food/alcohol delivery service. You can say they’re more “Professional” than other services like Uber Eats, GrubHub or Delivery Dudes, etc because they give you a uniform (Green hat, green shirt and mandatory black shoes and pants).

They recently acquired ‘Chow Cab’ another food delivery service here in Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area. They acquired the company and the restaurants they’re already partnered with, they expanded the lineup of restaurants Bite Squad was partnered with in different states/cities.

Work?

It’s basically like Uber/Lyft but for food, but not really.

Since you are W2 employees you have specific shifts;

  • You can’t go on shift whenever you want like Uber/Lyft. You have a set schedule.
  • You can’t randomly deposit your earnings into your bank, you have to wait until payout week which is ‘every other Friday.’

After your orientation and they guide you through the app, etc. They will probably make you start working right then and there (depending how new the business is in that…
